Maybe because its not an overnight process, it will takes some time to over come such trauma. So for the mean time i would stay with my parents house during the weekdays and weekends with my hubby in our own home. Its very hard on my part because i cant be with my hubby even if i want to. There are times i just want a hug after a toxic day from work or just an ordinary day that i misses my hubby and want to hug him but i cant. Its really a trial on part since i cant overcome the fear of leaving alone at night in our own house because of the incident. I pray to GOD that sooner i will be brave enough and have the courage again.

August 2009 in Philippine History

The transition period from July to August is one for the books or I should say for the history books (and should be properly written by writers...ehem ehem Zaide)

1. Former Philippine president Corazon Aquino will be buried beside her husband at Manila Memorial Park. The heavens must be crying a lot for the loss of the Filipino people and the Aquino family. The former president gave a good fight for democracy and she should be rewarded for her effort.

2. Extreme disgust over the attempt made by Malacanang especially the midget president (ehem ehem GMA) to insert new pets (I mean candidates) into the Supreme Court. Good thing the Judicial Bar Council thwarted the attempt. The midget president should be reminded about the division between the legislative, executive, and the judiciary branch. She needs to get schooled on the current constitution. I smell something sinister in the recent move of Malacanang and could it be connected to the 2010 elections?

3. Oh my! Carlo J. Caparas nominated by Malacanang to the newest batch of National Artists. What in the world were they thinking on nominating that guy who did nothing noteworthy for the country. I hope the massacre movies made by the guy does not prove how low can we go on picking candidates for the National Artists of the Philippines. Will make sure to campaign against him and make a massacre out of his nomination.

* borrowed the picture below from this site

Farewell madame president

Today marks a sad part of Philippine history as one former president has been called back by the Lord. Having some food with me for my partner since he was not able to join us because of his work. When we are about to sleep and listening to my favorite fm radio 90.7(papajak) i heard someone is crying so i thought it was just one of the mystery of the house and try to ignore it by putting the radio volume on high but i was wrong, instead she cried louder and louder. While i still have some guts with me i tried to say something like " umalis ka na!!" (what they say try to talk to them) i guess it didnt work out because she is angry hearing some things throwing outside of my room and doors are slaping many times. Its really a nerve breaking moment for me. I dont know how i survive that moment but still i did informed my parents but how? i dont know....

Up to now i still have fear of being alone

... horrible.... afraid...

but its true.

Me and Bankone family

Me and my office mates.

Boracay Trip (June 2009)

Me and my former officemate Laine.

Me and hubby at NAIA 3 around 7am, June 12. We were practically begging the staff at the restaurant to cook it as quickly as possible. I've noticed that most of the visitors were balikbayan. One of the best tasting Pinangat that I have ever tasted in my life.

Graceland is one of our last resort restos in Legazpi City. Almost all business establishment close after 5pm (onda?!) and there only a few of them that were open till 10pm (there's a Jollibee branch that's 24 hours but I skipped the option of going there). Food from Graceland is ok and the Pinangat is well-cooked and service is fast.

Dessert time at DJC halo-halo (Legazpi City branch). One of the hidden secrets of Bicolandia. They have one of best tasting halo-halo concocton and barquillos. It's worth the twelve hour trip from Manila.

Only in Bicol...

Toasted Siopao

Weird thing is that it's inside a bread and the is hard compared to the normal Siopao that is easily available here in Manila. But the taste is ok (although more stuffing is needed).

My Samar - Sorsogon - Bicol trip (May 2008)

Me and my relatives decided to help our dear grandmother to go back to her province and see if her relatives are still there.
